My grocery store deducts five cents per bag each visit, and they have for about the last two years.
One of our two locally-owned groceries (Brazos Natural Foods) has been doing this forever too. It's nice though to see the big guys taking some initiative, although I'd much rather buy local. But, hey, baby steps, right?
