Marion Nestle reports on BPA

Check out this post on Marion Nestle's blog: Oh no! Bisphenol A Again

Even stuff labeled BPA-free still had BPA. All the more reason to buy fresh, buy local!

I just read that and was very disturbed. I do still make the occasional run to the grocery store to get things like canned refried beans. No more can I do that.

I've been canning up convenience foods myself for exactly that reason. I just actually did a big batch of black beans. Everything makes me suspicious now. Very sad.

Beany - It's frustrating. People think they are doing the right thing and it turns out no different AND you probably spent more money. :(

The Mom - Can't trust anyone it seems. I can everything myself too, other than a few items at the farmers' market.
