TAMU Women's Leadership Conference 2009

Well, how about that!

I agreed to speak at the Women's Leadership Conference at Texas A&M later this month and the announcement just came out. That's me listed as a Breakout Session Presenter on Voluntary Simplicity and my photo at the very bottom. You can also click to see it here.

Awesome!

Congrats!

Are we allowed to say you look cute? And this is totally inappropriate, but I'm glad that for once the voluntary simplicity speaker looks good. Being kind to the earth does not mean one has to look crappy.

Farmer's Daughter - You bet!

Glenda - It will be fun! I'm looking forward to it!

Beany - Thanks! Of course now that this picture is out, I'll have to be sure to wear makeup to the talk :)

Wow, I am inspired. The only "public" stance I have taken with my greenness is attending a church forum on "Greening the Congregation". You have way more chutzpah than me. Looking forward to hearing about it.

greeen sheeep - the funny thing is that I'm normally a bit of a recluse, but I'm having way too much fun and somehow, it trumps my shyness.
